FUNDRAISING

San Angelo Gives is a powerful online fundraising event powered by the San Angelo Area Foundation that will unite our community around important causes!

 

San Angelo Gives is a great way to support the Howard College San Angelo Campus.

The HSCA Foundation is currently fundraising for two major projects related to the Howard College San Angelo Campus.

  • Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) Mechanic Program

  • WTTC Renovations for Health Sciences

Graduating Students

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS

Frank Junell Health Professions
Scholarship

The Frank Junell Health Professions Scholarship is awarded to a Health Professions student who demonstrates high scholastic achievement, financial need, and motivation to succeed in a Health Professions program.

 

The scholarship will be awarded for each academic year, and the recipient will receive the $1,250.00 scholarship for both fall and spring semesters for the purchase of books, tuition and fees, or other educational expenses each semester.

Howard College San Angelo Foundation Scholarship

The Howard College San Angelo Foundation has graciously donated scholarship money to Howard College San Angelo to be awarded to selected applicants to further their education.

 

Multiple scholarships may be awarded based on the funds available and the number of scholarship applications received.

The student must be a HCSA student pursuing a HCSA degree or a HCSA Dual Credit student. Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 college credit hours for each semester. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Margaret Shannon Clinical Professions Scholarship Program

Shannon Hospital in San Angelo established this program to help ensure the future of quality healthcare for the Concho Valley. The education assistance program covers 100% of tuition, books, and fees. Upon graduation or completion of the educational program, the recipient must maintain full-time, continuous employment for the entire obligation period in a career field at Shannon.

Estela Luna Vaquez
My Future Started at Howard College

Estela Luna Vaquez's story is truly inspiring and showcases her determination and dedication to her education despite various challenges.

 

Her commitment to maintaining a 4.0 GPA while juggling multiple jobs and finding innovative solutions, such as using Wi-Fi at a local gas station to complete her homework, highlights her resilience and resourcefulness.

 

Her aspiration to transfer to Angelo State University (ASU) to pursue a bachelor's degree in education reflects her passion for learning and her desire to positively impact as an educator. Being recognized as a panelist at the Rise and Teach Conference at ASU further underscores her accomplishments and potential in the field of education.

​

Estela's story is a testament to the power of perseverance and hard work in overcoming obstacles and achieving one's goals. Her determination to succeed despite the odds is admirable and inspires others facing similar challenges.
